This places is incredibly popular so prepare for a long wait. Whenever I pass by this restaurant on Santana Row, it’s always packed. Since hearing such positive words about the restaurant I finally decided to check it out myself this Sunday.
I had the soup of the day which was a great cauliflower soup with anchovies butter. Flavors were clean and seasoning was spot on. The lipid balance was also excellent. For my main course, I had the Spicy Fennel Sausage, Portobello Mushroom and Roasted Onion Pizza. The pizza was very tasty with great char on the crust. This place reminded me a lot of Todd English’s Figs from back in my Boston days. This place is loud and busy so go there to eat, not socialize (you’ll have a hard time hearing your friends).
I’ll definitely be back.
