She is now emailing the tasting notes as a PDF and says “The email method will allow you to store the notes more easily and share them with friends and the cooking buddies you get together with to enjoy the wines.” So, If your interested, drop me an email at eric [at] egoh.com. So far we’re off to a great start.
The Yalumba Muscat is an incredible dessert wine with intense flavors of fig, raisin, and caramel. This stuff is extremely decadent and is best enjoyed in small quantities. It’s so nice that I’m including it in a shipment to a special woman (for the second Sunday in May).
Last night, Jenn had a good friend over and we shared the Gary Ferrell Pinot. This was a great wine! I picked up some really nice raspberry and cherry and some nice earthy hints as well. Once this wine came up to temperature (my wine storage is really cramped so this wine ended up on the bottom where it’s a bit too cold), it was smooth and silky. I really enjoyed this wine.
We’ve yet to open the Delille Cellars but this month’s shipment was stellar so far.
