I just watching Nova, Dimming the Sun while having my breakfast. The program is about global dimming which is:
…a term describing the gradual reduction in the amount of global hemispherical irradiance (or total solar irradiance) at the Earth’s surface since the 1950s. – from Wikipedia
I found the program really eye opening and disturbing. In short, the effects of green house gases on global warming might be much worse than we though.
Some scientists now consider that the effects of global dimming have masked the effect of global warming to some extent and that resolving global dimming may therefore lead to increases in predictions of future temperature rise. – from Wikipedia

I read a bunch of his books back when I was in college and really enjoyed them. But it sounds like he is smoking crack on this one. Nearly all climatologists believe global warming is happening. Either way, it sounds like he stirred up a lot of buzz with this novel so good for him.
We’ll definitely take you up on that offer. Jenn is also in love with Yumi Yogurt (Ray said you like it) so we’re practically in your backyard.
Talk to you later!

Hi Eric!
Funny you should bring this topic up, but I just read “State of Fear” by Michael Crichton which deals with this topic. Crichton is very opinionated and I don’t know if you ever read his books, but he tends to do alot of research. I’m not knowledgeable with global warming other than what is in the news/media, but he opposes this and challenges readers to look beyond what is presented in the news and media. That’s my lame 2 cents LOL.
You guys should come over and visit Emi and Kiki they love visitors!
