I wanted to get the word out that the Taste of Sonoma in San Francisco will be held on Monday, May 8th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. The tickets are quite reasonable at $45 per person. I’ve done a couple of these events and find it a great way to taste a wide variety of wines and to do back to back comparisons.

From their site:

EXPERIENCE an evening of the best Sonoma has to offer on Monday, May 8th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Award-winning wines will be paired with dishes prepared by local Sonoma chefs inspired by the ingredients and bounty of Sonoma County. Enjoy live music, a silent auction benefiting the Junior League of San Francisco, and enter to win a luxurious weekend in Sonoma Wine Country for two. Award-winning author Leslie Sbrocco will be signing her newest release, and K&L Wine Merchants will be giving pointers on how to build your wine collection.

Here are a couple of pictures from The California Wine Experience a couple of years ago (Notice my red/purple mouth 🙂 from swishing and spitting a couple hundred Cabernets):

I hope to see you all there!

  1. Actually, I didn’t drink too many. I mostly spit them out so I wouldn’t get drunk and think they all tasted good. 🙂
